Haiti

I was in a mall today and a bunch of teenage boys with hanging-down hip hop pants and sideways baseball caps were encouraging other young people to text a ten dollar donation to Haiti. I was so moved. They were acting on their own, no "school group," no asking anyone for funds for them to donate (and perhaps pocket). They were acting on the pure desire to give and share that feeling. I was filled with hope.
